BODY PATTERN

HELLO ALL,

IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE PATTERN OF A ONE SOLID BODY TO ALL CENTER LINE OF COMPONENT PART OR CAN WE COPY THE SOLID BODY WITH BASE POINT AND PASTE THE SOLID BODY RESPECTIVELY BY JOURNAL.

I'm not sure that I understand what it is you are trying to do.
It sounds like you have a solid body in the assembly file and you want to pattern that body around one or more centerlines of a given component?

If this is the case, I believe it can be done (either interactively or with a journal); but you may need to wave link the centerline references into the assembly if you want the results to be associative.

Yes you got it correct select the centre line or cylindrical body circumference to make pattern wherever we want. Can I get a journal for it please please. And regarding copy with base point - In Auto-Cad this option is there in same can we do it by journal.

copying the solid body by copy with base point should able to paste "n" number times like the way we do copy and paste method once we copy we can paste "n "numbers of time.Requesting journal for pattern & also copy with base point option.

Thanks a lot for supporting me.

Using the "move object" command, you can copy entities using the "point to point" option; this will allow you to specify a base point and destination point. If you are creating arrays of bodies, you should look into the "pattern geometry" (or "pattern component") commands.

If you copy and paste a feature, you can specify new parent objects. I don't know that NX supports a "base point" during a copy and paste operation as shown in the AutoCAD video.
