Hi,
do anyone know, how to get the current assigned material of a reference set? This is important when reassign material to a part with more than one body and different materials for each of them.
Also I need to know how to reassign this material to the standard reference set in case of deleting all materials of bodies in part before.
Best regards
Michael
re: material assigned to ref set
I don't think that I've ever assigned a material to a reference set. What steps do you take in interactive NX to assign a material to a reference set? Also, what version of NX are you working with?
Material Assigned to Ref Set
Hi, I´m working with NX1899 and have old parts from NX11 / NX12.
In NX I have a part with 2 ore more solids, e.g. PCB - Epoxy and Copper. When you assign the first material, e.g. epoxy, anything is normal. When you then assign the second material, e.g. copper, a new windows will be opened - Part Material Selection. You have to choose on of them and then OK. If you look into part navigator and switch into not display time stamp order, you see the reference-sets with, e.g. 2 solids. Then you can configure the additional column "Material" (as attribute) and you see, that both solids have a different material and only the choosen material was assigned to the standard reference set.
