Need help: Journaling to show Note Edit Dialog

I want to create a Journaling that does the following but using the Record function doesn't seem to work.

1.Select a Note, run Journaling : display the Edit note dialog box.
2.Select a View, run Journaling : display the View Setting dialog.

Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance!

As a general rule, journals will NOT open standard dialogs for you. If you want to apply specific settings to an object, journals excel at that.
