I was asked to define session ?

I answered it is entry point to nx, after defining session I enter in nx.

Was that correct?
What is the more specific answer.

You can think of the session as the running NX program. Among other things it manages your open files. You need a reference to the session to get a reference to the work part or displayed part. Without a reference to a part, there isn't much you can do that is useful...
