I don't know if this question is appropriate, but I'll ask it, anyway ...
I'm curious to know how many people make donations in return for the help they receive. Some of the questions here are basically "write some code for me", and people generally get paid for that sort of work -- contract programmers make about $100 an hour.
But then, on the other hand, Stackoverflow is free (though you're not likely to get good answers to NX questions there).
So, how many of you have actually paid for the (excellent) help that you receive here? I haven't donated, myself, but then I do more answering than asking.
Not accusing anyone of being a parasite; just want to better understand people's attitudes.

I really appreciate your point. People should be thankful if their problems are solved/even partially solved or get guidance for free of charge. And should donate or help.
